For the third year in a row as a full-service partner we had the opportunity to bring a true flagship project to life at gamescom: the joint business booth for the entire Embracer Group under the PLAION and THQ Nordic banners. Our goal: to create a business oasis that does not feel like work but where the industry’s most important deals are made. High-end design meets genuine comfort right in the midst of the gaming world’s busiest trade show.
1,000 square meters, maximum impact.
Across nearly 1,000 m² of space, we created an infrastructure that went far beyond traditional trade show design. A total of 28 meeting rooms provided the perfect retreat for productive discussions and exclusive hands-on sessions. One thing was particularly important to us: creating an atmosphere where partners and guests would feel welcome despite the hustle and bustle of the trade show.
Logistics with Attention to Detail
Behind a project of this scale lies meticulously planned event logistics. To bring the expansive wall spaces and rooms to life we coordinated a fleet of over 20 trucks that delivered everything, including more than 200 real plants, on schedule. The centerpiece of the booth was the central hospitality area. With a fully equipped bar, professional barista service and a first-class buffet we created the ideal setting for successful networking. After all the best business deals are made where professionalism meets first-class hospitality.
Sustainability made in North Rhine-Westphalia
Sustainability was an integral part of the project: modular construction, regional value creation, resource-efficient materials and a closed-loop recycling system. Over 90 % of the components were reused. Social responsibility was also a priority, through the use of local skilled workers and targeted support for the next generation.
Coming to show like gamescom [...] is a massive challenge. When you bring 250 staff from 28 different companies, it's a huge and very stressful thing to try to organize but planetlan make it easy. When I thought it was an incredible impossible task but planetlan will always deliver.
