Games for Families is the popular event dedicated to computer, console and board games, which is held at major consumer trade fairs across Germany.
"Games for Families" has been the roadshow event for board games, toys and family-friendly digital games since 2011, having visited 70 locations to date. All the games on display offer added value – be it mental agility, reaction speed, knowledge acquisition, physical fitness, coordination, musical aptitude or learning support. Games featuring excessive violence, on the other hand, must be strictly excluded. An independent advisory board of specialist journalists, psychologists and educators guarantees this commitment. All digital games on display have also been assessed by the Entertainment Software Self-Regulation Organisation (USK) and are labelled with an age rating of 0, 6 or 12 years.
