The Mobile World Congress, the major event for the mobile communications industry, takes place annually at the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via. Well over 2,500 exhibitors showcase the future of mobile technology to more than 100,000 trade visitors.
On behalf of the POOLgroup we have been responsible for Event-IT since 2022 and develop the technical concept each year for thousands of devices displayed at the two Samsung booths, while also providing on-site support for this production.
The temporary Wi-Fi network, set up in accordance with GSMA and Spanish trade show regulations, naturally accommodates cell phones, tablets, laptops and TV sets, but also integrates refrigerators, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, air purifiers, yoga mats and speakers, all connected to broadband internet to meet every need.
A special high-availability setup was designed for the client, which not only ensures greater reliability but also specifically routes the data streams to be monitored over the Internet via different carriers.
